Aluminum guard and pommel

Two pins in the pommel indicates Western Cutlery patented bifurcated tang.

Blade stamp: M – Western Field / reverse: Made in USA patented

Original leather sheath, nickel plated split rivets intact; handle snap works, a few broken stitches

Knife is in very good vintage condition complete with age appropriate patina and scratches from use.  Has been sharpened; retains a useful edge.
