Protect against the immediate aftermath of an unintentional handgun discharge. NIJ-IIIA equivalent ballistic protection backed by our exclusive Ballistic-Seal® energy absorbing/dispersal panel. The Academy Pad™ is intended to be your gun handling safety zone during handgun loading, unloading and maintenance. Maintain direct and continuous, light muzzle contact with the inner-oval of the Safe Direction® emblem throughout the gun handling procedure. Warranted to absorb and contain a standard duty/defense handgun round up to .45 ACP.
